I want the chance to know you more.
Including all the little things.
Like various trivial biographical details,
And what you think of birds and snails.
Your favorite colors and time of year,
The music that you like to hear.
And still I want to know you more.
Including all your moods and swings.
What is it that makes you blush and giggle,
Or wrinkle your nose and squirm and wiggle?
How do you spend your quiet times,
And what do you think of silly rhymes?
And yet I want to know you more.
Including all your shapes and lines and curves.
The sweeps and contour of your hips
The shape and taste and color of your lips.
The feel of your body touching mine,
Exquisite geometry intertwined.
Even so to know you more,
Places and ways where words fall away.
Tendrils touch of heart and soul,
Cascading colors patterned bold.
Exhilaration at palm skin touch,
Magnetic and primal and visceral rush.
The you that’s you and only you,
And through knowing you, to be known, too.
